What exactly is BooksForge?
BooksForge is one connected workflow for local service businesses: capture the request, approve the reply, schedule the job, invoice the customer, collect payment, and hand off to the bookkeeper — without rebuilding the same record in five tools. It is a Product by PrairieStack.
How does booking work for customers?
Browse the business directory or deals, choose a business, then a service, and you'll see that business's real availability on its live calendar. You submit a booking request — the owner reviews and confirms it. A request becomes an appointment only when the owner confirms.
Are booking requests guaranteed appointments?
No. A request is a request until the business owner confirms it. The business confirms, reschedules, or declines from its calendar, and you're notified either way. We're deliberately honest about the state of every booking.
What do the plans include, and can I cancel?
Starter ($29/mo) includes 2 team accounts; Growth ($79/mo) includes 6; Pro ($149/mo) includes 15. All plans: no setup fees, no hidden platform fees, no long-term contracts — cancel anytime. Additional employee accounts are $6/mo each.
Does the AI send messages without my approval?
Never. Outbound replies, follow-ups, and review responses are drafted and queued for owner review. Nothing leaves the workspace until a person approves it. Automation is a time-saver, not a replacement for your judgment.
How does missed-call follow-up work?
Forward a carrier notification or voicemail email and the call lands in your work queue with a drafted owner-reviewed response ready. BooksForge does not answer your calls or access your phone account — it organizes the follow-up you already need to do.
Is my business data shared with customers or other businesses?
Only what you choose to publish: your listing, deals, and bookable services appear in the public directory. Your customer records, inbox, and books stay private to your workspace. See the Privacy Policy.
How does the bookkeeper handoff work?
Growth and Pro include accounting handoff: A/R, sales, job, and payroll prep reports export ready for your bookkeeper. No more weekend re-entry — the trail you kept all month is the trail they receive.
Can I list my business even if I don't book online yet?
Yes. Starter includes a local finder presence with a lead/request page. Online booking is available on Growth and Pro, or you can keep contact/request-only behavior on any plan.
What is ImMAGE?
ImMAGE is BooksForge's production-artwork service: vector conversions, print-ready files, sign/apparel/embroidery art, restoration, and brand packs ordered by the job — handled through the same pipeline as any other work order.
